The photography of Steven Bart focuses on the stark beauty of the
Maine coast and the rich colors of the fall foliage in Acadia National
Park. Primarily a landscape photographer, his digital color prints and
CD slide shows of the ponds, gardens, mountains, seascapes, lobster
boats and yachts of Mount Desert Island and the grandeur of Katahdin
Lake are prized by connoisseurs of photographic art.
Steven lives
in Bar Harbor, Maine, during the summer and spends his winters in New York City. His photographs capture the natural beauty with its
complex simplicity found in northeastern landscapes. His passion for the
natural world has taken him to many inspirational locations, and with
his “listening eye” he has witnessed wonderful moments of serenity and
awe, moments he strives to capture in photographs that go beyond the
technical aspects of photography and into the world of art.
